Daim cookies

Ah! The Ikea experience! The way those big yellow bags welcome you at the entrance, the red route you are advised to walk, the affordable prices, the I-don't-really-need-it-but-hey-let's-take-it-anyway, the 2 coffee for 1, don't forget the gravad lax pistolet, the kitchen equipment, and then behind the check-out, the Swedish shop. Let's have some knäckebrot, cookies, the hot dog or ice-cream for the kids. Mom I get to make my own cone! And sometimes a big bag of Daim chocolate-caramel candy! This time I had an excuse, I faintly remembered I had seen a recipe somewhere. Nic from Bakingsheet has made Daim drop cookies. I followed the exact same recipe so if you would like to make these too, please check out Bakingsheet. Bonus, the cook gets to eat the left over candy, you know, just to make sure you can tell the difference in texture in the cookies and the original..... PS: American sized cookies and American sized quantities....Made a batch tablespoon sized and the rest teaspoon size and I have enough cookies to share and share and share!

I hope Blogger is doing it's thing today, I've been trying to upload this for two days now and so far I've lost content, photo's, and connection...

  1. Baking Soda,

This is so funny! Believe I know the "Ikea experience". You go in to buy one thing and come out with 10 ... !

    Lovely cookies!
