Post from afar....

Hellooooo,
We are still in Johannisholm near Mora and the reason I am sitting here is because we misread the starting time for a hike...So we rushed the kids from their beds this morning, send them showering, a quick breakfast (very dry wholewheat bread in the supermarkets here!) in our clothes, our rucksacks packed only to discover that the hike wasn't going to start at 10.00 but at 15.00 hrs. Ahum!
And then there was this little pc....and some spare time....
So I am going to tell you that we survived one mean thunderstorm yesterday, with a real downpour of rain. And my selfmade awning did the job, although the original awning to which I attached mine leaks like... It was as wet inside as outside!
Other than that we have the most beautiful weather, sun shining, real bikiniweather. We have seen one (1) elk, beautiful beaverdams and a burrough, and did some minor trails.
The kids are having tremendous fun, building huts and participating in activities. Up to a few nights ago we were able to make a campfire every night but since it has been very dry campfires are prohibited. (Maybe tonight after this rain). You sure need the extra heat of the campfire at night, temperatures drop immensely at night. You are able to read your book outside till 23.00 hrs, no lights required. (You were right Larein).
All for now, this was my 30 minutes for 20 Kroner!
Bye
