Kitchen of Love is an event that is hosted by Chris at Mele Cotte, it celebrates Valentine’s Day and participants are supposed to make something foodie using at least one food/ingredient that's considered an aphrodisiac. An aphrodisiac you say? You can find some info this post. Or, look here, here, or here.
Now, I'm fully aware that baby booties, or rather a baby in itself is the perfect anti-aphrodisiac (although technically speaking a baby can be the result of aphrodisiac-induced happenings..).
So this is just an announcement, I have to get my brain focused on the other side of love now and come up with something tasty. If you like to join you'll have until the 10th to submit your entry to this event! All information can be found here at Kitchen of Love.
Oooh they are so cute, I love them!
ReplyDeleteBaby booties! Well, babies are the fruits of passion!
ReplyDeleteSo very cute, you did a great job decorating them.
Holy Moly, those are the cutest! Congratulations! And, thank you so much for plugging the event! :)
ReplyDeleteOMG, Congratulation on your new born nephew. You are such a sweet auntie, look at those beautiful cookies you made to celebrate her coming to the world.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Elra
Congratulations on the new nephew. These little baby bootie cookies are so adorable. Great job decorating!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, these are absolutely adorable!
ReplyDeleteWhat cute cookies! I have a new little nephew in the world, too, and he brings me such joy...even if he is a three hour plane ride away. Hopefully yours is closer.
ReplyDeleteDarling! You are a whiz at decorating. Good job!
ReplyDeleteI wended my way over here from Saffron & Blueberry to find your adorable and perfect baby bootie cookies!
ReplyDeleteAs far as Valentine's Day is concerned, my brand-spanking new heart-shaped springform tin is waiting patiently. But baking a cake with oysters? Hmmm, must look at that list for other aphrodisiac foods (ooh, he does love ginger).
Thank you all! So nice!
ReplyDeleteIt took me a while to be pleased with them, as usual I saw all flaws... but in the end I was real happy with how they looked.
The nurses in the hospital thought they were great and asked which bakery they came from (!yay!).
Jamie you're too funny, not too fond of oyster cake myself, I need that list too!
The booties are so cute! I may have to copy them when my newphew is born in April!
ReplyDeleteA kitchen of love . . . seems to me the best aphrodisiac is love. Very beautiful Karen the cookies and the love!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations auntie! :)
ReplyDeleteThose cookies are so cute that I don't think I'd want to eat them just admire all the time.
Thanks for visiting!
Congrats again on the new nephew! The cookies are absolutely darling.
