I didn't miss the chocolate but then again, I don't really like chocolate with fruit so..<br />Karen Baking Sodahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10648275442628223581noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16941527.post-42247822347076389002013-03-09T05:47:42.735+01:002013-03-09T05:47:42.735+01:00I like the chocolate in this recipe but I did cut ...I like the chocolate in this recipe but I did cut the amount in half. Your bread without the chocolate looks lovely with the dried fruit and walnuts. I'm glad you were able to squeeze this bread in. I saw your other bread pictures of FB. Though Elizabeth is right, this is more a kind of dessert bread, nothing you would make a sandwich with. I think the chocolate is the one thing you could leave off, cherries and nuts alone would have tasted just fine, too.Karin Andersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08328101125789534921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16941527.post-71489800276259861102013-03-08T15:10:45.566+01:002013-03-08T15:10:45.566+01:00I can't imagine chocolate in this - especially...I can't imagine chocolate in this - especially sweetened chocolate. That would make it cake not bread. Not to mention that cherries and walnuts already seem like the perfect combination. Even though I've made "no-knead" bread, I'm still suspicious of it and I always say in my mind (and sometimes out loud to the cat) "No kneading? That can't be right! But I LIKE kneading!"<br /><br />(Whoa! Could the numbers and letters on the anti-robot image be smaller?! It's a shame that you forgot the chocolate, that went just so well with the cherries (yes I accidentally walked into these cherries from the Lidl a while back).<br />I've been so low, I have baked this way in time and still haven't published it. Better get on it right now, thanks for reminding me :)Lienhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07355494414772149750noreply@blogger.com
